The Foxrock Inn is ideally situated within the centre of many walking attractions in the county. Most popular of all are the Slieve Bloom Mountains which contain a choice of 16 different Looped Walks from 6 different Trail Heads in the Slieve Bloom area. Walks are organised every Sunday of the year which are led by experienced walkers that know the mountains and the best walks.

Dunmore Woods in Durrow is a popular spot for the locals of the area, offering a number of different leafy routes through the woods. The mixture of riverside, forest and field trails, along with a minimal amount of paved road, make for a very pleasant walking experience.
